Worship of God Vishwakarma, according to Hindu mythology, is considered the Lord of Creation and the Principal Universal Architect who designed the divine architecture of the entire universe — the heaven and the earth. Lord Vishwakarma is known to be the best worker. He was dear to Gods for his craftsmanship. Lord Vishwakarma is known to have created the towns of Hastinapur and Dwarka. The most important creation of Vishwakarma was Lanka, which was known as “sone ki Lanka”. The Puja has great relevance. Construction is basic to human life. From time immemorial people are engaged in construction work to make their life easy. Even in the modern day where technology has taken over, the work starts only after worshipping the God of construction, ‘Vishwakarma’.
